Cooley, Dennis & Denmon is a vibrant company specializing in Construction Management and Quality Assurance and Inspection Services to the Corps of Engineers. CDD has performed services for the St. Louis District, levee repair and restoration, Louisville District, quality assurance inspection and testing services, Olmsted Lock, Little Rock District, quality assurance and testing services Montgomery Point Lock and Dam, Vicksburg District, various flood control protection structures and New Orleans District, quality assurance services for flood control structures and debris removal.

CDD presently has a joint venture contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the New Orleans District furnishing Quality Assurance Representatives.

Salary is $21.00 per hour plus benefits.

Job duties consist of:

• Performing Quality assurance inspections on the construction contractor activities.
  
• Assure work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.
  
• Document daily activities of the construction contractor including contractor’s quality control, work delays, safety requirements and etc.
  
• Interpret plans and specifications and resolve differences when cost is not involved.
  
• Witness and perform certain quality assurance tests.
  
• Assure the construction contractor performs the three phase quality control inspection system properly.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of specialized construction management experience in concrete, earthwork, electrical, mechanical, dredging, revetment, debris removal, emergency repairs and heavy construction.
  
• 2 years of general construction experience.
  
• High School diploma.
  
• Basic computer knowledge.
