Location: Charlotte, NC
The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is looking for a currently enrolled undergraduate student to assist EPRI’s Quality Assurance (QA) team within its Nuclear sector.
Job Functions:
- Use MICROSOFT ACCESS to build an Access database with the ability to generate to generate custom queries and reports in Access Knowledge of how to develop and program relational database is a requirement. Also, the database will be required to be populated from existing paper and/or electronic records.
- Scan QA paper records, convert into electronic format, combine with original QA electronic records on electronic media, and verify accuracy of the process.
- Process QA records for storage on CD-Rs or DVD-Rs.
- Implement (configure and setup) file folder system on CD-Rs or DVD-Rs according to project or programmatic index/protocol.
- Maintain Excel based logs and databases.
The Ideal Candidate:
EPRI participates in E-Verify, an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA). EPRI uses the system to check the work status of new hires by comparing information from the employee's I-9 form against SSA and Department of Homeland Security databases.
