Quality Assurance Tester/Automation - Secret Clearance Desired
About the Job
This position will start in Fort Knox, KY in June 2010.
Candidate must be a US Citizen. A Secret clearance is desired but not required. The individual should be able to obtain a clearance and will require a National Agency Check (NAC).
Responsible for developing automated test scripts using IBM Rational Functional Tester.
Experience using IBM Rational Performance Tester and IBM Rational ClearQuest desired.
Must be able to work effectively with the development and operations staff to obtain a clear understanding of system design and user requirements.
Proven project management skills are required to include estimating LOE for scripting.
The tester is also responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for establishing an automated test environment and executing automated test scripts.
Manual testing and reporting of defects is also required.
The tester must have a clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
A BS in a computer or related technical discipline is preferred but additional years of experience may be substituted.
