Health Solutions Plus Inc., a healthcare software company located in Melville, NY, seeks Quality Assurance Testers to help support our leading edge claims processing system.  Candidates must be detail oriented with a strong desire / willingness to learn about the Healthcare industry.  Candidates should also be able to effectively multi-task while remaining flexible to changes in priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and regression testing to ensure software requirements are met
  
• Create, update, and execute test plans and test scripts
  
• Have an understanding of bounds and type checking as it applies to GUI Windows based applications
  
• Verify consistency of user interfaces
  
• Record test results and communicate effectively with the development team providing enough detail  to replicate results
  
• Willing to work extended hours on occasion to meet product release dates

Note: Previous software testing experience and / or a background in Healthcare Eligibility, Benefits Administration, Provider Contracts, Claims Processing, and Claims Payment is a PLUS.

Education: Associates degree, Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

General computer knowledge working with Microsoft Windows based applications is required.
