Ultra Pro, Inc, (www.ultraprocorp.com)  a dynamic, Consumer Products Company that manufactures and distributes collectible storage accessories, girl's fashion accessories, pet products, novelty pens and kitchen cutlery is seeking a high-energy, challenge-seeking Quality and Compliance Manager to manage our Product Testing and Factory Compliance Department.

You will manage the Product Testing and Factory Compliance programs for the Corporation and for such large customers such as Wal-Mart, Target and Petsmart.

The talent we are looking for will have proven experience in all activities of Product Testing and Factory Compliance while have a strong sense of Quality Assurance programs. This person will have strong problem solving skills and thrive in an environment where challenges are the norm.  

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the testing programs for multiple product lines ranging from toys to kitchen cutlery
  
• Monitor  most recent laws and regulations that pertain to product safety and quality informing management of impact and risk to the business
  
• Develop, track and analyze testing KPIs, continuously looking for ways to improve the company compliance level.
  
• Provide support to the Design and Development team and other key personnel to establish and maintain compliance for all products.
  
• Work with leading certified labs to manage costs while insuring all products meet government and customer regulations
  
• Implement and manage new corporate factory compliance policies and procedures, staying on top of  major customer’s programs and new government regulations to ensure the corporate policies are up to date.
  
• Work with china factories to ensure corrective action plans are being updated and implemented
  
• Work with sourcing team to ensure potential vendor partners meet social, health and safety, and security compliance requirements.

QUALITIFICATION:

• Experience in product testing and understand of laboratory procedures (Required)
  
• Extensive knowledge of CPSIA and toy testing standards including warning and labeling requirements. (Required)
  
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
  
• Ability to analyze existing and pending regulations make recommendations, then develop, implement, and monitor compliance procedures.
  
• Able to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously and keep them on track
  
• Ability to communicate clearly in groups and individually about compliance requirements.
  
• Ability to problem solve using total quality techniques
  
• Experience in continuous improvement techniques.
  
• Previous work experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization
