Responsible for coordinating quality engineering initiatives for the respective site or product which includes; development and implementation of quality plans and new techniques, oversees testing techniques, and analyzes results for the determination of root cause and continual process/product improvements.
Develops and implements quality plans that ensure product is tested in accordance with applicable quality standards, material specifications and customer drawings and specifications.
Analyzes inspection and testing data for trends and reports findings to management for process/product improvement.
Oversees all inspection and testing activities to ensure that proper methodology and techniques are consistently employed to achieve accurate results.
Participates in the development of new analytical and measurement techniques to ensure continuous improvement and improved capabilities.
Requires:
Bachelor's degree in quality, manufacturing, mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
Certified Quality Engineer (preferred), Trained/exposure to all applicable testing and inspection equipment and techniques.

Educational exposure/professional experience: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Quality plan development/implementation-ISO 9000.
