Quality Control Inspector/Technician II

OPTICS 1 designs and builds optical systems and sub-assemblies, from deep ultraviolet through far-infrared, for medical, industrial, commercial, military and aerospace applications. Our Defense Systems Group, located in Manchester, NH, is looking for a Quality Control Inspector/Technician II to join the team!

General Job Description:

You will support Engineering & Manufacturing by performing incoming, in process and final inspections of material and components. You will ensure that materials and product conform to requirements by using measuring instruments. 

Specific Job Requirements:

• Three years hands-on experience in Quality Control performing inspections and tests under limited supervision.
• Experience in both Optical and Mechanical inspection.
• The ability to work independently and accurately.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain objectivity and discipline in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Ability to use CMM for inspections
• Able to interpret engineering drawings using ANSI Y 14.5 specification and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
