POSITION SUMMARY:
Certainteed RPG has an opening for a Quality Manager at our Peachtree City, Georgia manufacturing facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide quality support to the roofing manufacturing processes. Develop and oversee effective Quality Assurance/Control processes and procedures.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
-4 year degree
-5 + years quality management experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
-Ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
-High sense of urgency
-Experience developing quality systems.
-Understanding/experience in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. ISO certification/experience highly desirable.
-Ability to work in a team based environment and to work collaboratively to solve problems.
-Strong/effective communication and interaction skills-ability to work closely with employees at all levels of the organization.
-Understand the importance of and have the capability to provide customer service inside and outside the organization
