Job Summary:

Manage quality control systems at NCI and supervise a team of quality control team members including QC techs, label control and returns personnel. Provide quality team support and build internal communication and quality control reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service
• Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity
• Provide technical expertise to internal teams including Quality Assurance Director,
• Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality control objectives
• Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize reliability and minimize costs
• Maintain inspection criteria and procedures
• Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company
• Provide and oversee inspection activity for product throughout the production cycle
• Interact with suppliers to ensure quality of purchased material
• Design, develop and implement quality control training programs
• Strategically think, gather and synthesize large amount of data and information
• Present facts and recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Biological or Food Science/Nutrition,

- Minimum of 7 years related experience

- Quality supervisory/management experience and computer proficiency

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

- Quality orientation, high attention to detail

- Supervisory/management experience

- Experience with high performance teams

- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
