QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
My client is a civil construction firm with major focuses on construction management, heavy construction, site preparation, demolition, and underground utilities with continual focus on cutting edge innovation to exceed customer expectations.
Ideal candidate will be able to organize, control and review all activities according to the plans and specifications provided by the US Army Corps of Engineers with regard to quality for the project.
Duties will include to record and report progress of construction work by being able to perform multiple duties and responsibilities including but not limited to contract compliance, safety requirements, inspection of work to ensure all trades are providing a quality product, implementing and enforcing the Quality Control Plan which consists of inspection, site documentation, detection of discrepancies on site, submittal preparation and reviews, document control, etc...
Education and/or experience: BS in Construction Management OR a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both.
Certificates/Lic./Registrations: USACOE Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certificate, First Aid & CPR Certification, OSHA 30 Certification
Must have good tenure with a reputable contractor with a clean background and able to be approved by the COE for State and Federal projects.
Salary and package commensurate on experience
