Quality Control Manager

 

Growing manufacturer located in the Chicagoland area is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager. The individual who assumes this position will be responsible for ensuring that our quality-related functions are well managed and in compliance, as per outlined in the Company Quality Manual.

 

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for but not limited to the following functions:

 

  • Maintenance of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System
  • Serve as the Company’s Management Representative
  • Responsible for coordination of Management Review Meetings
  • Fostering of continual improvement concepts
  • Development of quality control plans
  • Initiation of corrective and preventative actions
  • Coordination of document control actions
  • Overseeing shop floor quality activities

Candidates should enjoy working in fast paced environment, enjoy floor time and have the desire for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications/Essential Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000/ ISO 9001:2008
