Job Title: Quality Control Manager 


Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate opening for a senior-level Quality Control Manager for a large Naval base operations program in the Washington Metropolitan area. The Quality Control Manager will have full authority and responsibility for assuring that performance objectives and standards are met. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


§         Ensure the quality of workmanship by EMCOR’s project team through a series of inspections, checklists, and reporting.


§         Implement EMCOR’s Quality Control Plan for operations and maintenance, and oversee performance of all subcontractor work.


§         Train personnel in quality control procedures


§         Work closely with the Project Manager in enforcing the quality control objectives and supporting continuous improvement for the contract.


§         Work closely with the project Site Safety and Health Officer and corporate Safety Officer in supporting safety plans and procedures.


Qualifications: 


§         Minimum of 5 years work-related experience in managing quality operations of a large facility management contract required.


§         BA/BS in industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field.


§         Top Secret Clearance preferred; must be eligible to receive TS clearance.


§         Knowledge of Six Sigma, TQM, and / or ISO 9000 required. 


§         Excellent problem solving, research and analytical skills; attention to detail, objectivity and ability to think strategically.


§         Proven leadership skills and track record of top-level performance.


§         3+ years of Government and / or military experience preferred.
