Description:  Leads teams of Assistant Managers, Specialists, and Technical Supports in the Quality Control Department in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives for safety, quality, cost, and productivity.  Plan and organize work and resources.

• Manage daily priorities to meet departmental and sectional Key Performance Indicators (KPI). 
  
• Develop strategic Parts Quality Control and Assurance Plan for internal and external customers.
  
• Execute and implement the sectional goals and objectives (G&Os) aligned with HMMA and HMC Global  G&Os.
  
• Manage new model project for parts quality.
  
• Support production to improve process qualities.
  
• Manage Suppliers Quality Systems.
  
• Develop and train team members and assistant managers.
  
• Lead and represent inter-departmental and inter-plants quality improvement activities.
  
• Poster and promote strict compliance of company, departmental, and sectional policies and procedures.

Requirements 

• Possess strong technical skills and experience in the area of quality control in fast paced manufacturing environment.
  
• Ability to understand and meet diverse background of customer's needs and global business.
  
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with various priorities and time frames.
  
• Strong planning and organizational skills and experience.
  
• 3 to 5 years supervisory experience.
  
• Strong technical skills and experience in the area.
  
• Occasional travel (domestic, foreign) working hours may include weekends, holidays, and /or off shifts.

Education / Training

• High School/GED
  
• B.S Degree in technical majors is strongly preferred
  
• Advance degrees in business management or related fields would be a plus
