The QUALITY CONTROL (QC) / QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) MANAGER will be responsible for:

• Directing contractor personnel and subcontractors in executing work procedures.

• Work to include the QC / QA inspection of multiple projects in a specific area and / or management of multiple QC / QA inspectors.

• Inspect work in progress to insure that it conforms to the contract documents and schedule.

• Direct regular meetings with field crews and subcontractor personnel, as well as with owner representatives

• Responsible for the implementation of the Contractor Quality Control Program and Safety Plan on all task orders

• Ensure that the proper level of Quality Control of all subcontracted and self‐performed work is maintained

• Manage the US Army Corps of Engineers "QCS" program for the project.

• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

• Commercial Construction Experience (Federal and Military Construction experience strongly preferred.)

• Solid Experience with computer‐based COE Quality Control System (QCS) is a plus.

• Completion of US Army Corps of Engineers "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" Course a plus

• 5 + years experience performing onsite supervision/quality control management of construction projects

• Experience with daily quality control/submittals/pay requests for Government/COE construction contracts

• Efficient administration and management of Federal contracts

• Word Processing, good written communication skills, coordination and familiarity with construction industry and standard construction practices is required.

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience; Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management degree is a plus.

• OSHA Safety Training / Certification a plus.
