Quality Control Technician

We are looking for a hands-on, multi-tasking Quality Control Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.  The ideal candidate will have an associate science degree or equivalent technical training, and 2+ years quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.  You should be organized, energetic and enjoy working with people in a constantly changing environment.  You should be a self-starter with a desire to succeed and takes pride in their work.  Experience with with Industrial Fasteners or in a product-related industry a definite plus!

You will compile and analyze relevant data (using calipers, micrometers, Vertex CMM, Optical comparator, hardness testing, and sample preparation) and determine effective internal actions to correct and prevent product discrepancies that affect performance and reliability or otherwise do not meet valid customer expectations.  Compile, analyze, and track corrective action plans and results of supplier and internal activities for effectiveness, and provide feedback and assistance where necessary.  Conduct internal quality audits, supplier evaluation surveys, and discrepant material review and disposition activities to resolve and prevent quality/reliability concerns.
