This position provides for the development, implementation, management, and overall supervision of quality improvement and management processes.  Implements various requirements through development of procedures and related training.  Responds to needs of clients and community through customer service, general assessment of risk/critical incidents and cultural competency. 

Job Functions:

Preparing for county/state audits.  Develop and implement corrective action plans in response to audits.  Manage technical portion of quality assurance.  Supervise Document Quality and Maintenance Manager and general medical records.  Respond to and track critical incidents including review and reporting requirements.   Develop, monitor and facilitate QM plan.  Manager special populations process and respond to needs of agency.  Train clinical staff on new clinical requirements.   Coordinate with Human Resources on client centered investigations and interface.  Policy and Procedure review and development based on WAC and contractual requirements. Respond to internal and external customer services issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Two to four years of Quality Management plus direct service experience.  Must have knowledge and understanding of the organizational functioning of Non Profit Community Mental Health/Additions, County, and State agencies.  A master’s degree specializing in behavioral health.  License preferred.
