Divisions
URS operates through three divisions: the URS Division, the EG&G Division and the Washington Division.
The Washington Division provides engineering, construction and management solutions for infrastructure, power, mining, oil and gas, industrial/process and defense projects. The Division specializes in design-build and design-build-operate-maintain services for transportation systems and provides engineering, construction, modification and maintenance expertise for every form of power-generating facility. The Washington Division also manages high-risk, technically complex programs and facilities for the U.S. Department of Energy, including nuclear waste management and disposal programs.
This posting is for a potential vacancy, intended for a future need for a Quality Engineer IV. This vacancy is associated with upcoming work, with expected starts ranging from present thru Fall 2009.
Quality Systems Auditors: 5 years Quality System in auditing activities in the discipline they are working in. Qualified in ISO-19011 and competent in the discipline being audited, familiar with Quality Systems standards and be able to exercise judgment against the criteria of the standards. Must be able to communicate clearly in writing and orally. Auditors shall have satisfactorily completed a training course and passed the course examination. Auditors shall have completed 40 hours of auditor classroom training and as participated in a minimum of four system audits for a total of at least 20 days during the past three years
Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or demonstrated equivalent.
