Currently, we are in need of a Quality Engineer/Internal Quality Auditor. This position will work under the direction of the Manager of Quality Improvement and have the following responsibilities within assigned areas: 


- Responsible for project management of assigned quality initiatives, to include:




  • Auditing for compliance to the QS/ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management System and Counsel on Accreditation standards


  • Analyze business processes to identify quality problem areas, sources of risks and associated failure costs


  • Act as a partner with departments/process owners in determining the source of concerns and ensure timely remedial action is taken. Recommend and initiate corrective or preventive control measures


  • Prepare process procedures and reports of quality trends, action item status, audit results, and other performance measures


  • Establish quality requirements for processes and services in assigned areas 

- Review and post QMS documentation.


- Participate in the planning of, and/or lead activities that further develop and maintain Quality practices and standards for the organization.


Must be a detailed oriented, high energy, self-starter with strong management skills to drive successful completion of complex projects within aggressive time frames.


Must have excellent verbal and communication skills with a high competency using server and desktop systems software including, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio.


Strong teaming, cross-functional, interpersonal skills are a must. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical publications, reports, and other documents related to Financial or Quality disciplines. Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or management related to Quality documentation, data, records and reports.


Required Education: Associates degree, or equivalent in Business Management or a Quality discipline. Must possess experience in ISO-9001-2000 requirements. Preferred: BA/BS or equivalent in a Quality discipline. Accredited ISO training, and/or Counsel on Accreditation training. Experience in problem analysis discipline.


Required Experience: 2-5 years experience in Process, Methods or Quality discipline. Experience in process flow diagramming and control and quality data presentations to senior management. Experience in quality systems auditing. Prior experience working under formal environments such as COA, ISO 9001, or other quality programs. Must be able to read and understand technical documentation. Preferred: Experience in ISO 9001:2000 Quality System auditing. Experience with web-based system applications related to QA, Finance, or Quality tools.
