Quality Engineer:
Review the assigned line information, interact with line team members, both hourly and salaried to drive improvement.  Analyze data and present it in a format that allows the quality circle team to focus their efforts on improvements.  Work and manage individual projects related to driving quality metric improvements.
What You Will Do
 Daily production line support on making daily decisions related to product quality serving as the view of the customer.
 Manage ongoing internal quality metrics improvements through quality circle activity and special individual project management.
 SIR reduction assistance to help achieve 5% refrigeration category target and specific SIR target in assigned area of responsibility..
 Responsible to create a process control development plan, updating and changing of plan when change occurs within the manufacturing process.
 Determining root cause of problems and implementing corrective & preventative actions.
 Participate in safety, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives.
 Participate in new product launch activity and training related to EMPA, Engineering Model Production Approval,  pre-pilot and pilot builds
 Performing Lean Sigma project work, and implementing Lean Manufacturing methodology throughout area of responsibility.
What You Need To Succeed
 BS Degree with 3-5 years experience in a lean manufacturing environment, MBA desired. 
 PC proficiency utilizing Access, Excel and other Microsoft applications
 Must possess strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
 Ability to communicate cross functionally internally/externally as well as to all levels of the organization.
 Must be able to manage and drive change.
 Must be able lead, motivate and develop others.
 Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
 OPEX Black Belt, ASQ, CQE, CQM or CSSBB desired.
 Project management certification desired.
