Collect, analyze, and pareto data sources to identify potential areas for quality improvements. Conduct and write root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventative actions for quality issues associated with molding and automated assembly processes. Establish, maintain, and administrate plant statistical software control programs. Establish and optimize inspection techniques, functional test methods, and automated dimensional measurement routines (Smartscope). Six sigma background is highly desirable.
Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must be capable of organizing data from multiple sources, analyzing information, and writing technical summary reports. Experience using data analysis computer tools and statistical analysis tools is required. Previous experience working in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment preferred but not required. Bachelors degree in engineering science or related field preferred. Prior experience in molding, automation, and/or quality assurance is preferred.
