Job Description:

Major Job Duties: NOTE: This position will reside at Cummins in Columbus, Indiana. Function as main interface with customer, on-site. Initiate and support investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions. Coordinate the communication of issue status (root cause, corrective action and implementation dates) to customer and management. Coordinate "clean brakes" at customer. Support customer quality initiatives. Prepare and provide information on quality levels, to the customer and internally. (PPMs and/or incidence rates). Track issues and issue resolution, report status and facilitate closure. Prepare and present presentations on issue status and/or assessments. Manage quality aspects between North America customers and Bosch facilities worldwide. Provide details and analysis of customer concerns to Bosch plants. Assist in the identification, investigation and root cause analysis of customer concerns. Follow up to ensure closure of customer concerns. Lead role in product launch at customer locations. Support role for production readiness at Bosch facilities. Build relationships with key customer personnel to cultivate partnerships. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Bachelors of Science in a technical field with hands-on automotive experience. 3+ years experience in the automotive industry with solid understanding of diesel engine fuel and related systems. Experience in the manufacturing area. Candidate has previously demonstrated strong communication and organization skills. Desirable attributes: Multi-lingual with electrical and electronic systems knowledge and experience. Literacy in technical German considered a plus. Past extensive experience with APQP documentation and OEM customers.
