Quality Engineer

My client, located in scenic North Carolina, is a world leader in manufacturing electronic components for the automotive industry. Due to expansion and growth, my client is in need of a Quality Engineer to join its quality group. This individual is needed immediately. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications.

Quality Engineer Requirements:

·         BSEE

·         Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering to assist with decisions related to Electro-Mechanical Processes

·         Well organized and deadline oriented

Quality Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Supports the Manufacturing functions

·         Customer Interface (customer complaints, customer request/inquires, new model, change points, etc.)

·         Confirm Product to Requirements are Met (Trials, 1st time shipment, change points, design changes, QAV’s, Reliability Testing, Strain Testing, Cross Sections, etc.)

·         Reviews Procedures, Drawings, and Document to ensure Quality Requirements are Met

·         Manage change point control with customer (Initial Prod Part Approval, New Model Approval)

·         New Model Development
