You will be responsible for the quality processes and achievement of the quality goals at the manufacturing plant.

  Manage any support associates in the overall quality management process.


• 
  
  Monitor supplier related data from internal plant sensors.


• 
  
  Participate in and provide data for supplier escalation meetings.


• 
  
  Based on assembly base quality input, pre-analyze supplier issues to validate most likely root cause.


• 
  
  Follow guidelines to determine if containment is necessary and implement accordingly.


• 
  
  Initiate containment process, manage until completion. Analyze quality data on a frequent basis to verify effectiveness. Document activities of the containment in the appropriate system.


• 
  
  Communicate to appropriate parties based on severity/fallout of the sort.


• 
  
  Disposition non-conforming material and request corrective action per guideline.


• 
  
  Monitor and grade 8-D in the internal database. Visit supplier if a site visit is necessary to verify corrective actions.


• 
  
  Actively participate in daily/weekly quality related meetings.

You will have a Degree in Engineering. With at least two years experience in quality related positions within the automotive industry you have product and manufacturing process experience. We also encourage entry level people with relevant internships to apply for this position. You will possess excellent communication skills, are highly motivated, hands-on, self-confident, persistent, consistent, and have the ability to work in a timely manner. Computer literacy (MS Office) is required.
