TITLE:

Quality Engineer

FLSA STATUS:

Exempt

JOB FUNCTION:

Monitor, control, and analyzes supplier materials and process/performance.

Monitor, control, and analyzes product and process quality to meet internal and customer requirement.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Collect, analyzes, and monitors Supplier quality data and develop/maintain Supplier Quality Score Card

·        Oversee IQA with utilizing AQL sample sizes, and mil spec inspection standards

·        Perform component level analysis of utilizing vendor specifications and  

·        drawings

·        Ensures adherence to company quality standards and customer quality requirements

·        Collect, analyzes, and monitors quality data for reporting purposes, delineating between component and process issues

·        Interfaces with functional owners on internal quality issues and with customers on customer-related issues

·        Recommends and facilitates preventive / corrective action as needed

·        Oversees & maintains the following standards

·        ISO 9000, 14000, 18000, UL, SCA, TUV

·        As required, participates in internal auditing responsibilities (e.g. ISO9001, ESD compliance)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent job experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

3-7 years professional experience in job related area.

SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge in Supplier Quality Management aspects, ISO quality system, SPC, and problem solving skill. Knowledge of Hard drive & Power Supply functionality & Supplier base.
