Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to support production by providing tools and resources to ensure a safe and quality product for the consumer.
- Perform daily walk-through consisting of interviewing operators and reviewing documentation
-Foreign Object Management- retrieval kits, incident reports, interventions in the plant, training and daily auditing of indispensable equipment
- Food Safety Plan management by performing documentation checks
-Perform ISO audits and other internal auditing
- Assist in Consumer complaints reporting
- Support the investigation and resolution of Finished Goods losses
- Assist in several training programs throughout the plant
- Formula management
- Assist in the reduction of Seal Complaints
- American Institute of Baking (AIB) self auditing
- Any other duties assigned by Manager

Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Food Science or Engineering with background in Microbiology and Chemistry
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points Certified
- Completed American Institute of Baking (AIB), and ISO audit training
- Lean Manufacturing, regulatory experience; FDA, USDA
- Basic knowledge of microbiology and food chemistry
- Deductive and inductive reasoning and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, determined, and flexible
- Ability to lead and drive change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills- Word/Excel
- SAP warehouse management system
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams in a matrix
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move from 10 to 50 pounds
