Plans, supports and implements total quality programs.

Quality Engineer

Designs, specifies, and installs quality control sampling systems, testing mechanisms, and equipment.  Formulates and/or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures and development of quality standards.  Serves as a resource by providing a problem solving function by initiating action to overcome obstacles as they are encountered and prevent potential quality problems.  Assists internal and external contacts to resolve product and process problems.  Complete PPAP and IMDS specifically related to Mercedes Benz.

Travel up to 50%
Experience
        -work directly with Automotive OEM
        -PPAP and New Program launch
        -Sequencing (JIS)
        -min 5 yrs
Skill set        
        -excellent communication and technical negotiation skills
        -working knowledge of the German language preferred
        -all Microsoft Office Suite + ability to create MSProject timelines
        -experience with MRP-ERP systems
