Hyperion Systems Administrator to provide both front-end and back-end technical support across the suite of Hyperion applications within the organization toolset (Planning (v11), Essbase (v11), ODI (v11), FM (v9.3.3), DRM (v9.3.3), FDM (9.3.3), Shared Services. Primary focus will be on delivery of run support and application infrastructure activities with time also dedicated to continuous improvement and development efforts.

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Coordinate and perform system maintenance.
• Perform application based activities including creation, configuration, migration, copy, or restore of applications.
• Maintain and develop maintenance routines (back-up and clean-up jobs).
• Perform system monitoring activities: server usage, application size, etc.
• Conduct Hyperion patching and software installation (Windows and UNIX) as recommend by vendor.
• Limited server maintenance activities.
• Partner with EPM team to manage, trouble-shoot, and respond to system issues.
• Consistently follow a defined system development life cycle methodology.
• Create and manage related documentation.
• Provide expertise with developing solutions that will meet all the business and organizational needs.


Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of system administration experience.
• Strong experience with Hyperion EPM environments (version 11).
• Intermediate Unix experience (knowledge of how to navigate using Unix commands, configuration and installation of Java based solutions in Unix).
• Solid RDMS knowledge preferably SQL server 2005/2008.
• Software installation and configuration experience (complex environments).
• Good understanding of Windows OS 2003/2008 network topology.
• Exposure to Hyperion Shared Services (v9.3.3 & v11).
• Ability to read and understand software and hardware architecture.
• Experience with ODI is a plus.
• Experience with Weblogic.
• Java and J2ee knowledge a plus.
• Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel) knowledge.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
