Client located in Southwest Wisconsin is actively looking for an experienced Quality Engineer for a 6+month contract assignment to assist with developing and implementing quality procedures for testing products, equipment and new product launch processes. No per diem! Responsibilities - Manage Plant Quality Activities including: CQA, SQA, Met/Chem Lab, Measuring/Cal/QIE, Systems
- Manage Plant Elements of Supplier Quality Improvement
- Responsible for 3rd Level Quality Audits and Manage the Plant Six sigma Program
- Manage PQC and maintain PQC metrics
- Work to resolves work flow, equipment, personnel or other issues to support Plant objectives
- Lead first article inspection audits as needed
- Will serve as Plant Management Representative for QS / TS Certifications
Requirements - BS Engineering or Technical degree
- 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing plant
- 6-sigma certification and ASQ certification
- Experience with preventive quality, APQP, PPAP, new product launch process and Customer Quality Assurance
- Project Mgmt and QA/QC experience
- Inspection Auditing experience
