Position Description

The Cvent marketing department has an exciting opportunity for an online marketing & web analytics position. This position would support the measurement and success of all Cvent online marketing initiatives as well as the tracking and reporting of all client advertising efforts within the Cvent Supplier Network (an online marketplace for meeting planners and hotels).

The analysis you will be performing and creating reports around will be dispersed to the highest ranks within the company including all of senior management and Cvent’s board of directors. This position will help shape the future of Cvent’s marketing department.

Position Duties:

  • Create insightful reports & dashboards showing the impact and ROI of any given marketing channel
  • Maintain the backend of the CventSiteCatalyst integration
  • Coordinate with inner-marketing department teams as well as cross departmentally to provide reports/data on a scheduled as well as ad hoc basis
  • Work closely with the Cvent Supplier Network sales & marketing teams to ensure the CSN client advertiser are getting the data they need when they need it
  • Work closely with the reporting team to ensure reports are maintained and updated as necessary
  •  Attend client calls, webex sessions, and in-person meetings (when needed) to act as a knowledge resource


Candidate Requirements:

  • Extremely creative, team player, willingness to go the extra mile, detail oriented, highly organized
  • 3-5 years online marketing experience
  • Experience with Adobe OmnitureSiteCatalyst reporting capabilities (preferably version 15 of SiteCatalyst)
  • Experience with SiteCatalyst dashboards (preferably version 15) preferred.
  • Experience using Omniture Data Warehouse preferable
  • Experience in any of the Omniture Genesis integrations preferable, specifically Salesforce
  • Must possess a medium to high level understanding of the various tracking components and variables used to collect & aggregate data within SiteCatalyst
  • Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing
  • Previous experience in Google Adwords & Bing adCenter
  • Excellent understanding of Search engine optimization
  • Expert in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Basic understanding of and ability to read and interpret Javascript coding preferred
