Qualifications - Nursing experience preferred. - Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills. - Strong regulatory focus/background preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and GroupWise)
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Joint Commission project management experience in the clinical healthcare setting.
- Teamwork experience working cross-functionally throughout multiple disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of clinical operations.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead others.
- Excellent organizational skills as demonstrated by prioritization and multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Develop positive working relationship with the medical staff.
- Conduct and prepare Joint Commission (JC) accreditation readiness activities and function as survey coordinator during surveys. Support regulatory compliance (State and Federal).
- Collaborate effectively, efficiently and appropriately with Medical Staff Leadership and other hospital departments.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and AHC Organizational Integrity policies at all times.
- Collaborate with infection control and risk management as needed.
- Effectively lead projects and project teams to ensure timely, fiscally sound, quality improved projects.
- Maintain computer proficiency with applicable hardware and software.
- Prepare routine/ad hoc reports as indicated.
- Support development of grants as opportunities arise.
