Quality Information Analyst











Job Description:

This position reports directly to the Director of Quality Business Operations. This individual will be responsible for collecting, compiling, reporting, analyzing and acting on data and information relating to quality performance, both of Quality Business Operations and supported functional organizations. Individual will analyze multiple data sets, formulate process improvements and corrective actions, drive their implementation through direct interface at multiple levels, and provide related direction to Quality Business Operations and other functions. Individual will also be responsible for directing and coordinating Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) inputs, generating and analyzing ELF staffing reports and identifying required actions. In addition, this individual will interface with Business Area/Program Quality to coordinate Quality Business Operations proposal efforts; collect, analyze report and act on EVMS performance information.







Specific responsibilities include:

* Planning, developing, and implementing cost-effective systems for collecting, compiling, reporting, analyzing and acting on data and information relating to quality performance

* Extracting Quality data from on-line tools (e.g.; SRS, VBS, HQMS); analyzing data for accuracy & completeness; researching issues and status; driving data integrity

* Collecting and compiling quality data from all IDS Centers and generating Quality review packages for presentation to Quality and IDS Leadership, Business Areas and Customers

* Interfacing directly with Program and Business Area Quality Leads, other IDS CBTs, Program & IPT representatives, Industry Partners and Customers

* Maintaining records of Quality Business Operations events and results; auditable by AS9100 and CMMI assessment groups

* Collecting, reviewing and analyzing EVMS data; consolidating EVMS data for presentation at Director-level Quality Reviews; investigating variances & identifying corrective actions. Maintaining and verifying staffing baseline and demand data in ELF (Engineering Labor Forecast tool)

* Identifying staffing gaps, interfacing with Program Quality, Quality Business Operations management Team and Talent Acquisition to drive gap closure

* Coordinating Quality proposal data inputs, BOE generation and approvals

* Coordinating staff meetings; preparing & distributing agendas; recording & maintaining action item status; and driving action item closure.

* Coordinating Quality Business Operations events; includes research, site selection, scheduling, cost control, attendance, presentation material prep & collection.

* Representing Quality Business Operations on cross-functional projects







Basic Qualifications:



* Minimum 2 years experience with quality data systems, data analysis and reporting including frequent use and general knowledge of practices, techniques and standards.

* Minimum 2 years experience interfacing with Business Areas, Programs, IPTs and Customers.

* Working knowledge and minimum 2 years experience with Quality tools; Harrington Quality Management System (HQMS), Supplier Rating System (SRS), Virtual Business System (VBS).

* Minimum 2 years practical application of Earned Value Management System

* Level 1 EVMS certification.

* Solid working knowledge and 2 years practical application of Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) system

* Solid understanding of cost of quality concepts

* Proficient in use of Microsoft office tools; Excel, Powerpoint, Word

* Must possess excellent communication skills at all levels and proven success in team environment.

* Bachelor's Degree in Business. Will consider 4 years of work experience in lieu of degree

* Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist

* In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI and Mission Assurance Provisions

* Certified by American Society of Quality
