Responsibilities:
Performs concurrent and retrospective chart reviews on designated population to evaluate care in accordance with accepted standards of medical practice, hospital policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines. Will utilize required criteria to evaluate the delivery of care and/or services. Refer all variances to appropriate department heads and/or medial staff for interventions. Prepare, analyze and compile statistics for required reports. Function as facilitator for designated committees.
Qualifications:
BSN preferred
Licenses and Certification:
Current, valid Texas RN License.
Work Experience:
Five (5) years clinical experience in an acute care/ambulatory care environment providing/managing patients with varying diagnosis and other treatment protocols. Knowledge of quality management.
