Current Responsibilities:

·          Responsible for quality leadership for Plant Operations.

·          Insures that a quality system is established and maintained in accordance with customer and internal requirements as well as TS-16949. 

·          Responsible for operations-level reporting on the performance of the quality system to management for review as a basis for improvement to the quality system.  Serves as liaison with customers or other external parties on matters relating to the quality system.

·          Supervises, leads, and provides direction to support quality staff

·          Manage 8D problem solving process to eliminate quality issues.

·          Work with plants to reduce quality failure costs.

·          Audit Division Plant quality systems.

Current Requirements:

·          B. S. degree in Engineering, or related field or equivalent quality work experience is preferred. 

·          Supervisory experience desirable, familiarity with manufacturing metal cutting processes and assembly desirable, product knowledge desirable, and Six Sigma Green Belt status preferred. 

·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

·          CQA preferred.
