Requirements:

• 
  
  B.S. in Food Science or related technical science degree required
  
  
• 
  
  Minimum of 7 years experience leading quality programs in food industry
  
  
• 
  
  Experience coordinating 3rd party audits with customers and regulatory agencies
  
  
• 
  
  Must have food safety, food security and regulatory compliance programs experience
  
  
• 
  
  Must have experience making data driven decision utilizing SPC
  
  
• 
  
  Experience in supervising, coaching, developing, and training of others required
  
  
• 
  
  Allergens knowledge is preferred
  
  
• 
  
  Exposure to TPM is a plus

Duties:

This position is a part of the plant leadership team.  Leads the plant efforts for assuring that products/processes meet and exceed customer and regulatory requirements to include product quality attributes and food safety. Coordinates and is the lead with customers and regulatory agencies on all internal audits. Identifies quality improvement opportunities and implements solutions based on data driven decisions using SPC and other tools.  Establishes and maintains budget and staffing levels.  Develops skills and attributes of team members.  Partners with Manufacturing and R&D to assure seamless transition in product commercialization and new equipment design.

Salary: Base: $80K to $100K + 20% Bonus
