About the Job

At Communications Test Design, Inc., an innovative and dynamic leader in the telecommunications field, we are embarking on exciting new ventures for the new age of communications and we have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional. We are seeking a Quality Manager for our Coatesville, PA facility.


 


 



Duties:


  • §Identify and drive process and product improvements.

  • Perform corrective action investigations, determine root causes and define corrective/preventive action measures.

  • Perform internal audits.

  • Establish and maintain metric capture program, trending activity and the implemented QC plan.

  • Conduct internal and external meetings and interface with customer.

  • Implement and maintain a Quality System meeting customer and registration system requirements.

  • Provide tactical strategic support at a branch location level.

  • Communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with external auditors/customers.

  • Perform training and supervise inspection workforce.



 
Qualifications:



  • §Experience, understanding of TL 9000 and or ISO 9001 Quality.

  • Expertise involving electronic equipment, diagnostics, and/or electronics repair.

  • Must have 2-3 years of previous Supervisory/Management experience in a Quality position.

  • Quality management System experience or equivalent is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years QC inspection in a technical environment or equivalent documented experience in electronics environment.

  • Good documentation keeping practices.

  • Excellent analytical skills organizational and follow up skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, and Power Point, will need to be able to chart and graph trends.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of management.

  • Must be detail oriented and a team player.

  • Ability to read electronic and electrical schematics and machine shop drawings.

  • Ability to motivate production/quality performances.

  • Must be flexible in work duties and schedule.

  • Some travel is required.
