Leading Industrial Manufacturer is in search of a talented Quality Manager to be based at their Kingman, AZ Plant.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·          Will establish and administer sound quality assurance policies and procedures that will insure products are built to meet customer specifications at the lowest cost to manufacturing. 

·          Achieve and maintain plant certification of domestic and international agencies that will assist in gaining competitive advantage and recognition as a “World Class Quality Vendor”. 

·          Responsible for the development and initiation of methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation of company products. 

·          Develop and direct quality programs involving specialized or advance inspection methods, devices, and control techniques.

·          Establish programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production and processing equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical facilities. 

·          Develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques.

·          Assist vendors and suppliers with establishing inspection standards to meet quality requirements. 

·          Perform vendor audits and analysis.

·          Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to resolve problems relative to product design, specification, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality.

·          Develops and maintains information and documentation that represents quality costs as percentage to sales dollars and manufacturing costs.

·          Develop procedures and controls for engineering drawings and specifications.

·          Manage document control as required by ISO 9002.

·          Initiate special studies and analysis of new products to evaluate quality and reliability when in production.

·          Ensure compliance with governmental regulations.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·          Supervise and direct a staff of quality engineers, a document control specialist, a calibration specialist and quality assurance technicians.

 

Qualifications:

·          Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience. 

·          Eight to ten years experience in quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, or related field. 

·          Two or more years of supervisory experience.

·          Ability to understand, use and explain mathematical concepts of all types, simple operations to complex statistical analysis.

·          Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

·          Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized and non-standardized situations.

 

Company offers competitive base salary up to $85K, bonus potential, full benefits, and 401(k).
