COMPANY: Allevard Sogefi USA, Inc. is an automotive filters manufacturing plant supplying tier-1 and tier-2 OEM’s in North America as a subsidiary of Sogefi SpA (www.sogefi.it).
LOCATION: Prichard, West Virginia (near Huntington)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manages a quality department of 1 to 2 other persons. Directs the development and implementation of the plant's quality management system. Ensures that policies and procedures regarding all aspects of quality assurance and improvement are rigidly adhered to during all manufacturing processes. Develop and implement plans to achieve operation and group quality goals. Ensure compliance to customer quality requirements and acts as principle contact for customer on quality issues. Manage inspection, corrective action, SPC, returned materials, internal audit activity, and other documentation issues as needed for the operations. Liaise with product development and manufacturing process engineers to produce PFMEA, control plans, and design GD&T inputs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a technical area or equivalent with a five (5) to ten (10) years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of TS16949. Knowledge of ISO 14000 is desired. A hands-on style within a small management team is imperative.
