Responsible for leading and managing the efforts of multi-site cross-functional Improvement Teams for the timely completion of Site/Enterprise projects; act as coach and facilitator for Lean, Six Sigma, Quality and Statistics to engineers and managers; act to improve cycle-time, cost and quality using Six Sigma, Lean, Quality, Reliability and Statistical tools; act as a Process Excellence Change Agent who can achieve significant improvements with reality-based metrics and data driven goals; manage internal and external customer complaints and improve quality commitment overall. Must have university degree/college diploma in relevant technical discipline; CEQ/SCAM strongly preferred;implementing Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing; must be a trained and certified ISO auditor. Interprets and executes policies and procedures and provides modifications to operating processes. Provides support in establishing and administering many division-wide initiatives and advises on tasks, projects and operations. Establishes new methodologies by utilizing lean tools.
The minimum educational requirement is a Bachelors degree in a technical field (IEEE Engineering, Math, Programming). The individual should have a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience; be experienced in maintaining an IS0 9000/AS9100 Quality System; and have the ability to drive continuous process improvements.
