Windsor Windows & Doors, a subsidiary of Woodgrain Millwork, has an immediate opening for a Quality Manager at our divisional headquarters facility, located in West Des Moines, Iowa.  This non-union facility is a make-to-order manufacturer of wood and vinyl windows and doors for the mid to high-end housing and light commercial markets.

As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day activities and management of the Quality Assurance function.  You will also be active in quality improvement projects, and assisting our quality improvement teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, with 5 years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment.  Six-sigma or ASQ certification is desired but not required.  Experience with lean manufacturing is also strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  This individual must be a strong team player and be able to manage details and multiple priorities.  Computer proficiency and solid mechanical skills are required.
