If you are prepared to work in an exciting and rewarding environment, we look forward to considering your experience and qualifications Quality Manager Position Summary: The Quality Manager will act as the head of site quality with dotted line reporting to the Operations Director. The QC Manager will have overall responsibility for product quality and will ensure that product quality meets or exceeds customer requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities: Ø Ensure and maintain Quality Programs including compliance with ISO requirements Ø Leads initiatives on quality system advancements, ensuring that quality assurance activities are directed towards process improvement, continuous improvement, cost effectiveness of processes, systems, and procedures and positive corrective actions Ø Troubleshooting operational concerns Ø Review documents (protocols, amendments, sample case report forms, statistical analysis plans) for quality and compliance with applicable regulations. Ø Ensure that all instrumentation and equipment are properly calibrated and functioning Ø Act as principal liaison and audit leader for customer audits and visits customer sites to investigate product complaints, inquiries and product returns. Ø Mentor, supervise and train direct reports Requirements:
Ø Minimum of an Associate's degree; Bachelors Degree is preferred Ø 3-5 years experience in an ISO / Lean Manufacturing environment Ø 1-2 years supervisory experience and the ability to lead and influence others Ø Must have superior customer relations skills, be customer focused, a good presenter, and someone that is naturally seeking improvement Ø Basic knowledge of statistics and SPC is preferred Ø Experience, exposure and / or training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S is preferred Resumes forwarded as a Microsoft WORD document attachment are preferred.
