- Assist other areas within the facility in understanding FDA, ISO and Baxter quality requirements. Maintain a high level of expertise in current regulatory requirements, and serve as a resource for compliance to these requirements.
- Lead in the development of customer awareness and understanding activities for areas of direct responsibility, and where appropriate, assist and support such activities throughout the facility.
- Provide guidance and coaching for the areas of responsibility for less experienced individuals.
- Recognized by various levels of the facility as an expert in their area and be able to demonstrate leadership ability.
- Lead large scale or several smaller projects with complex features.
- Apply project change management principles to manage project scope, resource and schedule commitments
- Identify and manage resolution of project risks/issues
- Proactively disseminate project information to all stakeholders
- Ensure that solutions are of acceptable quality
- Define/collect/report project metrics to monitor project progress, and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable
- Manage overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within resource allocation estimates
- Understand strategies and be able to invent new methods or new avenues of investigation.
- Good interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills.
- Successful track record of managing wide-ranging projects. Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Extensive cross-functional team experience, including technical and non-technical work.
- Ability to organize and present technical and project management without assistance.
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations and application of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Bachelor?s degree (in science or engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years experience in Quality or related field in the medical products industry.
- Project Management (i.e.PMP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification (i.e Green Belt, Black Belt) preferred.
