Quality Project Manager

  1. Assist other areas within the facility in understanding FDA, ISO and Baxter quality requirements. Maintain a high level of expertise in current regulatory requirements, and serve as a resource for compliance to these requirements.
  2. Lead in the development of customer awareness and understanding activities for areas of direct responsibility, and where appropriate, assist and support such activities throughout the facility.
  3. Provide guidance and coaching for the areas of responsibility for less experienced individuals.
  4. Recognized by various levels of the facility as an expert in their area and be able to demonstrate leadership ability.
  5. Lead large scale or several smaller projects with complex features.
  6. Apply project change management principles to manage project scope, resource and schedule commitments
  7. Identify and manage resolution of project risks/issues
  8. Proactively disseminate project information to all stakeholders
  9. Ensure that solutions are of acceptable quality
  10. Define/collect/report project metrics to monitor project progress, and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable
  11. Manage overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within resource allocation estimates




  1. Understand strategies and be able to invent new methods or new avenues of investigation.
  2. Good interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills.
  3. Successful track record of managing wide-ranging projects. Demonstrated leadership skills.
  4. Extensive cross-functional team experience, including technical and non-technical work.
  5. Ability to organize and present technical and project management without assistance.
  6. Working knowledge of FDA regulations and application of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  7. Bachelor?s degree (in science or engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
  8. 5-8 years experience in Quality or related field in the medical products industry.
  9. Project Management (i.e.PMP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification (i.e Green Belt, Black Belt) preferred.
