Accountabilities


-Assist QRO Mgr and QE in the development and implementation of programs and procedures for improvement opportunities
-Effectively communicate QRO issues/concerns with all members of the KC Team
-Active involvement in the finished product hold order program to assure appropriate, timely sampling, testing and disposition of product held for non-conformance issues
-Thorough understanding of product attributes for the flour and Bisquick business
-Determine potential quality issues and accurately make decisions using all QRO principles and a working knowledge of processing and packaging systems


Required Skills/Experiences


-Assure accuracy of all analytical, physical, packaging analysis and quality assurance measures
-Primary trainer for all testing procedures
-Provide expert trouble shooting knowledge on equipment and methods
-Develop and maintain analytical quality assurance programs including instrument calibration
-Maintain current approved methods for all testing procedures
-Perform quality audits with precision and accuracy, responding to identified issues/potential issues quickly
-Audit and act on issues with safety, HAACP, sanitation, GMP's, food safety, regulatory compliance


Competencies/Behaviors


-Understands the foundational laws and regulations that govern the
production and distribution of food products. Ability to deal with
company polices and governmental regulations and effectively
manage operational activities.
-Ability to conduct inspections to assure that facility meets all
HACCP, GMP and CFR requirements for the manufacture and
distribution of food products
-Understanding and knowledge in the basic principles of Sensory
Science. Ability to utilize sensory principles in the control and
manufacturing of food products that meet consumers needs.
-Demonstrates a broad knowledge of documents and systems
that govern the manufacture of food products that meet the key
consumer requirements.
-Key to success is a firm understanding of the product Standard of
Identity and the role documentation plays throughout the business
and manufacturing process
