Job Summary:
The Quality Technician is generally responsible for oversight and operation of Teamwork’s testing facility and equipment. Using a variety of equipment, processes, and resources they conduct tests for fitness of use on Teamwork’s raw materials and finished goods. The employee will review, test and evaluate materials to meet our internal specifications. This position requires a dynamic, hardworking professional with a solid education or background in quality and a desire to work for a fast-paced organization. The position must be able to roll up your sleeves attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Collect and prepare samples for testing
Ø Oversee outside lab testing of materials.
Ø Tests and evaluates new materials and conducts in-process/receiving inspection of raw materials and finished goods in Teamwork’s lab. These tests include:
Ø Crock Testing
Ø Wash/Laundry Testing
Ø Shrinkage Testing
Ø Color Evaluation
Ø Data collection, analysis, and reporting:
Ø Data collection
Ø Data entry and database management
Ø Data analysis to identify trends, quality problems, and/or potential materials issues
Ø Data reporting to appropriate parties
Ø Maintains color/performance reference standards
Ø Specifications Development
Ø Assists engineering and product development with raw materials and finished goods specifications
Ø Uses data and experience to make decisions regarding material fitness for use.
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
Knowledge:
· Quality assurance, testing, or laboratory experience
· Science and/or math background a plus
· Ability to read, understand and interpret technical documents.
· Intermediate skill level with Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
Skills and Abilities:
· Bachelors Degree required.
· Methodical in organizing, planning, and reporting.
· Displays strong analytical ability.
· Ability to conduct scientifically-valid research.
· Responds quickly to instructions, situations, methods, and processes
· Assists QA engineers to develop testing requirements, procedures, and methods for testing, inspecting or qualifying new products
· Analyze and prepare technical reports
· Review quality concerns as it relates to customers/or CS/Marketing feedback when needed.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
· Visual acuity necessary to determine color variance.
· Ability to stand for up to eight hours.
· Ability to sit for up to eight hours.
· Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and associated equipment for up to eight hours.
· Ability to use a microscope.
· Ability to use chemicals and detergents safely and without reaction.
· Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
· Occasional pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds
