Responsibilities/Duties
•Assign, train, and develop staff based on experience and departmental goals
•Develop goals and objectives, and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Develop a "Strong 2nd" for your area of responsibility
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Responsible for ensuring R&D’s compliance to domestic and international regulations and governing bodies (FDA, TNO, TUV, UL, etc.) thus allowing for the ability to market all new and existing products globally. Documents that support compliance include, but are not limited to ECR’s, Variances, Design Controls, Design Plan(s), Design Input, Design Reviews, Design Output, Design Verification, Design Transfer, Design Validation, Risk Analysis, Testing, and Controlled Drawings.
•Manage multiple Project Coordinators by assigning and ensuring completion of various tasks and requirements in fulfilling Design Protocol and R&D Processes (ECR, Variance, etc.).
•Manage adherence and conformity to our design control policies/procedures, planning, execution and coordination of new products as required.
•Provide scheduling, coordinating and recommendations to a multi-departmental product development team in conformance with operating procedures and current practices
•Oversee projects from idea generation to implementation.
•Communicate to all parties concerned about proposed modifications to project scope, schedule or budget.
•Assist in the collection and analysis of data concerning pricing, margins, and competition to ensure that informed decisions are made throughout the process.
•Identifies process/product improvements affecting projects, and devises new approaches to problem-solving.

Required Experience
•At least 3 years of Project Management experience or equivalentPreferred Experience
•Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) or Rehabilitation Engineering Technologist (RET) preferred
•Experience with Pride products and the specific products managed by this position preferred
•Biomedical experience preferred Required Education
