Currently, we are seeking a Research and Engineering Technical Leader I for our Neenah, WI location.
Summary:
This position plays a lead role in developing and maintaining the overall vision and migration plan for Personal Care Packaging Equipment needs. The individual would be involved with resolving challenging technical problems and in developing packaging technologies for use throughout Personal Care. This role provides technical oversight to a number of programs and technical service providers ensuring standards are followed for the smooth operation and installation of system solutions. Additionally, this position will work with other Research and Engineering leaders to ensure appropriate packaging technology migration plans are developed to support product and brand vision.
The incumbent provides direction to team members and is a key contributor by solving technically complex problems, providing technical oversight for a number of programs, assisting with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills and is viewed as a Packaging Subject Matter Expert within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Project management from an accredited College or University. Candidates with a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered
- Requires a minimum of 10 years' work experience
- Knowledge of engineering applications relating to Packaging technologies and equipment
- Experience with oversight and management of multiple concurrently running projects and technical vendors relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Masters in Engineering or Project Management
- High proficiency in developing and implementing new packaging technologies and system solutions.
- Extensive Project Management experience running multiple and divergent programs simultaneously
- Candidate should be regarded as a Packaging Subject matter expert
Other Qualifications:
- The ability to work well with other groups in a collaborative environment and the flexibility to adjust to changes in a growing company.
- Excellent written communication skills
