Due to continued growth, we seek an ASSET MANAGER to join our team for an exciting leadership opportunity at our Premier Real Estate Investment firm, headquartered on Long Island.

Ideal candidate: Strategic Thinker with Superior Management capabilities and a proven track record of success in property and asset management and the following:

  Multifamily property operations / management experience
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to deal with investors on a nationwide portfolio of properties
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to interact with top developer partners
  
  
• 
  
  Experience working with affordable housing is a plus but not required
  
  
• 
  
  Coordinate timely investor reporting
  
  
• 
  
  Strong leadership and team building skills is critical in this position as Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Asset Managers.

Requirements:

• 
  
  5+ years Real Estate experience in the Management, Operation, and/or Financial Assessment of Multifamily Housing
  
  
• 
  
  BS/BA required, advanced degree a plus
  
  
• 
  
  CPM Cerfitication a MAJOR PLUS
  
  
• 
  
  SECTION 8 experience
  
  
• 
  
  REAC / PHAS Certification a MAJOR PLUS
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to lead and manage a team
  
  
• 
  
  Successful track record
  
  
• 
  
  Strong written and verbal communication skills
