This individual will be responsible for growing sales of the Key Accounts in the Southeast and Southwest regions, by increasing market share of existing products, new product introduction and promoting the development of new products to meet those regional needs. The position will be ideally located in the Dallas, Texas area. This person will also provide leadership and coordination of the sales activities and establishing and maintaining relationships at critical levels, especially in the AT&T Head Quarter area. Other responsibilities include forecasting annual sales plan with quarterly updates and managing operating budget to ensure proper distribution of expenses that it will not be exceeded on a quarterly basis.
BS in technical discipline is needed, an MBA is a plus. Candidate must have strong leadership competence, excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with Product Management and Development. This person must be comfortable around higher management, both with Tyco Electronics and with Key Account executives, as well as have strong technical ability.
