REGIONAL MANAGER
The Opportunity…..
An exciting opportunity has recently become available for an experienced Regional Manager (Multi-Unit Retail/Service) based out of Chicago with multi-state responsibility for 8 of our US locations .
This position plays a pivotal role in the overall operations and success within our Branches in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, employee development and operational effectiveness. The Regional Manager is responsible for business development, analysis, multi-unit budgeting, leadership, mentoring and coaching, training and implementation of strategic thinking that will drive profitable growth and encourage employee development.
Your key responsibilities will include…..
- Provide direction and assist Branch Managers to achieve sales, gross profit, payroll and expense/asset control goals.
- Evaluate the performance of Branch Managers and review the performance reports of other Branch Staff.
- Provide direction and support for sales and marketing programs increasing customer loyalty.
- Train and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety.
- Be a change agent, improving the culture and mission and profitability of the company.
- Works closely with VP Operations and CFO on annual budgets.
- Coach Branch Managers to develop effective leadership and operations control skills.
- Develop and implement action plans to address concerns identified through periodic audits.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve or surpass budgeted sales and profit objectives.
As the ideal candidate you posses…..
- 5+ years of multi-unit experience in retail/service
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Proven ability to be a change agent
- Demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures
- Ability to multi task, establish priorities and manage conflict
- Ability to travel overnight across region
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
