Icelandair, the flag carrier airline of Iceland since 1937, is looking for a Regional Sales Executive to join our team. This position will be home-based in the Denver CO area, but requires quarterly visits to the Icelandair – The Americas office based in Quincy, MA. The office manages the airline’s sales and marketing efforts in North America.
The ideal candidate is an organized and self-confident individual with a passion for the travel industry that will do the following:
·Develop new business for Icelandair
·Maintain relationships with trade partners through personal visits, participation in sales blitzes, and oversight of Icelandair’s presence at trade and consumer shows
·Research and identify potential opportunities within sales distribution channels
·Prepare sales presentations and product/service training to current and potential customers
·Foster relationships with key business and organization partners
·Monitor and report on market competition within assigned region

·Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

·Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to travel overnight occasionally
At Icelandair we look for well-rounded individuals, but the following is a plus:
·Experience with CRS Systems
·Working knowledge of corporate systems such as CRM, SharePoint, Go-Pro and Cognos
·3+ years’ work experience
·Access to a car
