The company is looking for a highly qualified and motivated sales person to be responsible for sale of the company EZ Trac™ Hydraulic Front Wheel Drive System to prospects in target on-highway market segments. The position requires a high degree of travel covering accounts nationally. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree with prior experience selling hydraulic components, drive axles, or other on-highway related products in the on-highway market. A minimum of 5 years related field sales experience and proven track record of performance is a must.
The candidate will possess an energetic and forward thinking approach to sales and growth. We are looking for a process oriented individual who has a proven record of planned growth and effective management of all aspects of the sales cycle. Being able to identify and pursue best opportunities that align to strategic goals is required.
Essentiel Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a good working knowledge of the latest market developments through customer contacts, magazines, newsletters, trade journals, and trade shows.
2. Call on value minded customers in the on-highway target market segments including fleets, dealers, and modification centers to engage in active exchange of sales and product information on a regular basis.
3. Maintain knowledge of competitive products, pricing, lead times, and strategies.
4. Develop design proposals, including system performance data, for customers.
5. Negotiate and initiate price increases and promotional programs to customers.
6. Be responsible for attending and participating in trade shows.
7. Publish contact reports and expense reports per company policy.
Qualifications/Training/Skill Requirements:
1. Extensive knowledge of product line, i.e. ability to specify type and size of product for particular application.
2. Ability to work closely with engineering and operations
3. Ability to set and achieve measurable goals.
4. Oral and written communication skills.
Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in technical field; MBA a plus.
Experience Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 -7 years experience in selling hydraulic components,
drive axles, or other related products in the on-highway market.
Physical Demands: Travel for this position estimated at 50 – 60% of time.
Relocation to the Brookston, IN area is required.
